Open Stage Club

A Live Tribute to the Greatest American Songbook Ever

by the Miami Blues Band. Songs are to include: Sentimental Journey, Puttin' On the Ritz, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Accentuate the Positive, Fly Me to the Moon, and other classics.

Shows are held at Open Stage Club and Restaurant at 2325 Galiano St, Coral Gables, FL 33134, and their phone number is (305) 441-7902. Reservations must be made with Open Stage Club and they open for dinner at 6pm.

Tickets are $40 for general admission

Jack Crooner found his inner voice on a vacation trip in 1975 when his father took him to a sold out theatre in Caesar's Palace to see the one and only Frank Sinatra, right then and there he met the man he wanted to become. Since then he has pursued his love of music and has played with some of the best in the country. Jack is the Director and Producer of the show.

Armando Diaz is one the most highly acclaimed Frank Sinatra Tribute Artists in the country. For the past decade he has been crooning to crowds spanning from Houston, TX to Washington D.C., in venues as diverse as a luxury Cruise Ship off the coast of New Orleans to a half time show on a Baseball Field in Tampa, Florida.

A native New Yorker, Armando grew up in the heartland of Frank Sinatra. He brings New York credibility and elegance with him to the stage, and embodies the very soul of Frank himself in every note that he sings.

Felix J Deneau Jr. "Dean Martin"

Felix J Deneau Jr. was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up with such television favorites as, “The Ed Sullivan Show”, “The Jackie Gleason Show”, and of course “The Dean Martin Show”. He collected almost all of Dean’s albums of the time and would practice impersonating him on his record player. He would also imitate a number of other celebrities as well.

After graduating high school, Felix joined the US Navy, and continued to act and impersonate people while off duty. On his free time from the Ship and the Navy Base, Felix would go to Las Vegas to catch some shows. When he went to see Dean Martin at the MGM Grand, he was able to get on stage with Dean on a couple separate occasions, and performed his impersonation of him. Deam was pleasantly amazed with the likeness, and said “That’s pretty damn good, kid.”

After active duty in the Navy, Felix went on to college and received his Bachelor of Science in Communication / Theatre Arts at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. After graduating, he auditioned for Walt Disney World and landed a performer opportunity to open Disney / MGM Studios, bringing him to Central Florida.

Felix is currently a Top Talent Performer at Universal Studios Orlando, impersonating a variety of legendary movie celebrities and performing in its Shows. He has been with Universal since its 1990 opening. Felix also headlines as Dean Martin in the Orlando-based productions, The Rat Pack and Friends and The Centeral Florida Rat Pack, as well as in his Tribute Shows, Back to the Dean Martin Show – A Tribute to Dino and the musical comedy, The Crooner & The Comic – A Tribute to Martin & Lewis. All Tribute Shows have entertained many national audiences, Corporate, Private and Public, in Theaters, Resorts, Clubs, Hotels, Nightclubs, Casinos, and Cruise Lines.

David studied theater and the arts in college and instructs/coaches locally at Take2 Performer’s studio. His acting skills were put to use in his one-man show, where James Sullivan of the San Francisco Chronicle noted: "Like his idol, Hayes 'did it all' in his 90-minute tribute." He is a drama teacher, tutors music and is an abstract art instructor at a private school.

As an entertainer, he has performed in shows such as Reflections of the Rat Pack, Escape with David Hayes, Work That Skirt, and American Superstars. He was awarded “Best Performer in a Production Show” four out of five years by Fun & Gaming Magazine, sharing that accolade one year with the cast as “Best Act.” He has performed Europe’s Broadway--the West End of London—touring the UK, Germany, Denmark, and then the U.S. with, ”The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas.”

An accomplished comedian and emcee, he has opened for and worked with such greats as George Lopez, The Temptations, The Four Tops, KC & The Sunshine Band, Herbie Hancock, Tower of Power, and Florence Henderson. He worked the comedy circuit including the Improv in, amongst others, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Reno, and Atlantic City, with clean, entertaining humor. Other venues involve the major cruise lines and private and corporate conventions.

As a visual artist, David's work was exhibited at Caesar's Palace Las Vegas, in the Galleria di Sorrento. He received a grant from the Sierra Arts Foundation for his "RoadArt," which was displayed at Reno City Hall during Uptown, DOWNtown, ARTown's "C.I.T.Y 2000" event. The Hilton graced its showroom foyer with his Jazz Series. Some of his work could be seen hanging at the Carson City DMV and in popular Northern Nevada restaurants. A major exhibit featured his work at the National Automobile Museum.

David Hayes has been the co-producer and co-owner of Daisy Devine Productions, Incorporated, since 1997. He has produced events such as Rendezvous with The Pack-- a New Year's Eve Rat Pack show at the Reno Hilton, the National Bowler's Convention in Indianapolis, The Rat Pack Review in Wytheville VA, and most recently The National Guard Convention at the Reno Events Center.

Harrahs Reno celebrated its 100th anniversary of Bill Harrah in 2011 by dedicating a tribute—“Sammy: Celebrating the Legacy” featuring Hayes’ talents on an extended run.

David makes his home on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada -- just minutes from beautiful Lake Tahoe, with his wife Karen, a son, and a daughter.

Elexis is a singer/songwriter with powerful vocals and a sophisticated style. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Elexis' extensive knowledge in music makes her an exceptional singer with originality and class. In addition to singing, jazz, blues and R&B, Elexis is also classically trained and studied flute at Florida Sate University. She credits most of her inspiration to artist such as Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Aretha Frankin, Christina Aguilera, and of course the iconic Marilyn Monroe.
